Japan Night at Grace Fellowship Church…
Over 300 people came to Japan Night where we had an opportunity to share all that God is doing among the Japanese here in America and overseas in Japan. David Murphy, from the Barnabas Team, lead the evening to help share what God has done from the very beginning with reaching out to the Japanese .
Yukio, a Japanese friend introduced herself as “a new born Christian” sharing her testimony and how God has been moving in her heart over the past four years. Linda Markbery shared how God gave her a love for the Japanese and a desire to see Him praised throughout Japan after helping with the ladies tea during VBS.
Pastor Suematsu, shared his vision for learning about biblical counseling and his desire for his church to become equipped for the work of ministry. David asked him, “Since you first came (to visit with us), how has your perspective changed or how has your heart changed?” Pastor said “ that I have a funny feeling. I am a Japanese born in Japan, raised in Japan, I am sort of a soldier fighting in the front line. Then coming home here to your welcoming me so I can be charged by the Holy Spirit. So, this is my home.” WOW! God has beautifully knit us together for His kingdom.
The Cranes shared their hearts and challenged everyone to not only celebrate God’s work, but join them and the Barnabas Team in the work at home and by supporting their family on the field.
By God’s grace, Japan Night was the largest cultural night at Grace Fellowship Church. It was a great night as God once again proved faithful in supplying us, leading us and helping us share His work. PRAISE THE LORD!!
